Delivery Policy
Every Levulo order is sent free, tracked, by Royal Mail. This page explains when it leaves us, when it should reach you, and what happens on the rare occasions it doesn't.
We've given you Royal Mail's real delivery aims rather than a rounder, friendlier number. Where a service target doesn't apply to your postcode, we've said so.
1. Where we deliver
We deliver anywhere in the United Kingdom — England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We don't currently ship internationally, and we don't deliver to the Channel Islands.
We can deliver to PO Boxes and BFPO addresses.
2. What delivery costs
Nothing. Delivery is free on every order, whether it's a one-time purchase or a subscription, and whatever you spend.
There's no minimum order, no threshold to reach, and no delivery line added at checkout. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay.
3. When we dispatch
We dispatch within one working day of your order.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. An order placed on Saturday or Sunday is dispatched on Monday. An order placed the day before a bank holiday goes out the next working day after it.
You'll get an email with your tracking number the moment your parcel leaves us.
4. How long it takes
We send everything by Royal Mail Tracked 48. Royal Mail aims to deliver it in two to three working days from dispatch, counting Saturdays but not Sundays or bank holidays.
Add our one working day to pack and send it, and most orders arrive three to five days after you order.
That's an aim, not a guarantee. Royal Mail doesn't guarantee delivery dates on this service, and it has been missing its own targets over the past couple of years. Most parcels arrive on time. Some take an extra day or two.
If we haven't got your order to you within 30 days of you placing it, you can cancel and we'll refund you in full.
5. Where it takes longer
Royal Mail doesn't set a delivery target at all for some parts of the UK. Tracked 48 still goes there, still gets tracked, and still costs you nothing — it just takes longer, and nobody will tell you in advance exactly how much longer.
That applies to:
Northern Ireland — all BT postcodes
The Scottish Highlands and Islands, including the Outer Hebrides, Orkney and Shetland
Parts of Aberdeenshire, Perthshire, Argyll, Dumfries and Galloway, and the Borders
The Isles of Scilly
The Isle of Man
If you're in one of these areas, allow a few extra days on top of the estimate in clause 4. We'd rather tell you that up front than have you watching a tracking page wondering what's gone wrong.
6. Tracking your order
Every order is tracked. When your parcel is dispatched we'll email you a tracking number and a link.
Royal Mail will also send you delivery notifications directly if you give them your mobile number or email through their tracking page, and they'll take a photo when the parcel is delivered.
Tracking sometimes takes a few hours to start showing movement after you get our email. That's normal — it usually means the parcel is with Royal Mail but hasn't been scanned into their network yet.
7. Subscription Orders
Subscription orders ship exactly the same way: free, tracked, dispatched within one working day.
Your next order is placed automatically 30 days after your previous order. Because every order takes the same time to reach you, your next pouch should arrive roughly 30 days after the last one — around the time you finish the one you're on.
If you're running ahead or behind, you can bring your next order forward or push it back in your account, at any time. You'll get a reminder email before each renewal telling you when it's coming.
Full subscription terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
8. If you're not in
Our pouches are flat, and the packaging is sized to fit through most letterboxes — so for most deliveries, nobody needs to be home. Older doors, flats and communal entrances sometimes have narrower openings, in which case the parcel gets handled the usual way.
Royal Mail will try to leave your parcel somewhere safe, or with a neighbour, if they can. If they can't, they'll leave a card and you can arrange redelivery or collect it from your local delivery office.
You can set a Safeplace or a preferred neighbour with Royal Mail directly, and you can redirect a parcel while it's in transit through their tracking page. That's between you and Royal Mail — we can't do it from our end once a parcel has left us.
Parcels held at a delivery office go back to the sender if they're not collected. If one comes back to us, we'll email you and you can choose a resend, with postage payable, or a refund.
9. If your parcel hasn't arrived
First, worth checking: the tracking page, behind your door or under any post that's built up, any safe place you've nominated, and your neighbours. Most "missing" parcels are one of those four — and because ours come through the letterbox, they're easy to miss under something else.
If it still hasn't turned up five working days after your dispatch email, email hello@levulo.co.uk with your order number and we'll start chasing it.
Two honest things about what happens next. Royal Mail won't formally treat an item as lost until 10 working days after its due delivery date, so there can be a short wait while they investigate. And we'll be the ones doing the chasing, not you.
Once it's confirmed lost, or once that window has passed, you choose: a replacement sent straight out, or a full refund.
Your order is our responsibility until it reaches you. A parcel that goes missing in the post is our problem to solve, not something we'll hand back to you to take up with Royal Mail.
10. If somethings wrong with it
If your parcel arrives damaged, or the pouch inside is damaged or open, email hello@levulo.co.uk with your order number and a photo.
We'll replace it. We won't ask you to post a damaged pouch of food back to us at your own expense, and we won't ask you to prove anything beyond the photo.
If we've sent you the wrong thing, same process, same answer.
Your rights if something's faulty are set out in clause 10 of our Terms & Conditions, and nothing on this page affects them.
11. Bank holidays and busy periods
Royal Mail doesn't deliver or collect on bank holidays, anywhere in the UK. A bank holiday adds a day to everything, and a long weekend adds two.
December is slower than the rest of the year across the whole network, and so are the days around major sale periods. If your order matters for a particular date, give it more time than usual.
If there's serious disruption — weather, industrial action, anything that changes what you should expect — we'll say so on this page and email anyone with an order in transit.
12. Getting in touch
Anything to do with a delivery: hello@levulo.co.uk, with your order number. We try to answer within one working day.
